This CD contains the course content for your qualification equivalent to an Advanced Certificate in Education (ACE) specializing in ICT Integration. You will have registered with a service provider and selected modules.

At the beginning of each module (normally at the beginning of a semester) you will be placed in a group of learners who have registered for the same module as you. Together you will form a community of learners. This community will be made up of fellow educators, and will enable you to participate in online collaboration and progress through the module with the support of this group of peers and an online tutor.

The tutors for each module will support you in your work, as well as facilitate online collaboration within the community of learners. This communication will take place via collaboration tools described by your tutor.

Core and Elective Modules

This qualification is normally structure around 4 core modules, each lasting for 1 semester (half year) and a number of elective modules from which you can select modules to construct a course which interests you most. The number of required elective modules will depend on your teacher training institution, but typically students will select 4 elective modules to make up a course. The modules are listed on home page of this CD.

The details of the course structure, module selection and the credit value of each module will be provided by the teacher training institute to which you are affiliated.
