Welcome to Fun!Fun!Chem!, the virtual playground of our ChemWeb. Think of it as recess time and get ready to play with our assortment of chemistry toys! As it goes with ChemWeb, where there is learning there is fun, and this section is no exception to that unbroken rule. We have a virtual chemistry lab in 3d VRML, tons of exciting real video experiments, and an updatable chemistry joke section.
This is a 3d rendering of our chemistry room, complete with two of our favorite experiments, elephant toothpaste and burning magnesium. Feel free to explore and make yourself at home with our little chemistry room, which has been a big inspiration for us.

Are you into fire? explosions? sparks? glowing eerie lights? Well, if
you answered yes to any of these questions we have some safe clips of some
experiments that we have done. They are safe because you are
sitting at home looking at this on your monitor. Otherwise, they are
dangerous experiments that need to be done with adult supervision and a
licensed chemistry teacher around. These are done in the Real Video
format, you can pick up a copy of it here,
Real Player. At the time of construction
of these videos there was only a beta version of the encoder avalible so
you may have to save the movies to your disk and then view them. Here they are:

We didn't take a movie for slime, because there is not much to take a movie of. Slime is like the ectoplasm from the movie Ghost Busters. This will give you the directions as to how to make it yourself: Slime!
