To me it's an important part of my diet and hygiene schedule. |

Message: | I have a quick chem question. I am
doing a science fair project for my science/teaching class. I took solutions of salt water and timed how long it took an ice cube to melt in the solution. Then I timed how long it took to melt an ice cube in just plain water. It took MUCH longer for the ice cube to melt in salt water. Could someone explain why this happened in very basic terms to me. This is supposed to be a project for ele kids, so basic is best. Thanks. |
