Activity 5: Planning

3 hrs

In this activity you will create a detailed plan in a word-processed table. Planning properly and in detail now will help you to create a quality learning resource. Shoddy planning often makes for more work later.

Activity

  1. Look at the sample learning experience plan shown. It summarises one week's work on electricity.

  2. From the plan identify which headings have been used to:
  • Summarise the general information about the school, class, the educator, and the section of work?
  • Identify the relevant objectives?
  • Summarise the content of the learning experience?
  • Give extra information about additional components to the learning experience?
  1. Note down which headings you would like to use for your own learning experience planning form.

  2. Open the word processor, change the page set-up to landscape and create a word table with the maximum number of rows and columns that you will need. (The example has a maximum of 4 row and 5 columns)
