Actitvity
  1. Read through this ICT security policy for Matthew Goniwe High School. It was developed to record the various security system measures that this school put in place to ensure the safety of their ICTs.
At the same time, identify the types of systems that suit your school's situation. Start thinking how you will put in place a strong security system to protect ICTs at the school.
  1. Now examine your own school environment. Write a description of what you think should be done to improve your schools security system. Consider how your own ICT school policy may need to be amended or drawn up. Answer one of these questions in a document called Draft ICT security policy:
What security system could you put in place to ensure that the computers at your school are properly protected? Explain why you would select these measures.

OR
If you feel you have an appropriate, burglar and hacker proof security system, explain why you think this. Describe any areas of security that could be improved?
