In this activity you will review a science website of your choice and produce a short report to send to your group. You will also learn to be more critical of the information you find on websites.

Once you have looked at this information, open the website evaluation form and review any science web site (or one of the sites listed in the previous activity), but not one of the two that you reviewed in that activity. Click here to view the list again.

In the comments box at the end of the form, include comments on:

The website address or URL
Date visited
What resources are available on the site.
What do you think you can do with the resources in a classroom
Why you think the resources are reliable and suitable for classroom use.

Share your document with your group online (using the subject heading "Web Site Evaluation"). Read the evaluations that your group shares with you. If you know the website and think you could comment further and add to the information, do so.
