You may like to look back at some of the websites you searched in the previous module, ICT Maths Resources for Educators. In Activity 2 of that module, you developed tables to summarise what Maths resources can be found on a website. Possibly you found a site and a topic there that you would like to use and develop into a learning experience in this module.

1. Read the topic list for your grades in the mathematics curriculum and then select a topic and sub-topic to develop for your classroom use. Make sure that it will cover the required 4 hours of mathematics learning.
   
   

• The grade you will be developing your resources for.
• The topic and sup topics for your resources.
• The kinds of activity you might use to develop your learners in this topic.
  

3. Share your selection of topic with your group by sending a message to your group (using the subject heading "My topic").
   
   
4. Complete the e-diary. Record your thoughts about your learners and their needs. Try to think of the best way of making mathematics accessible to them.
   
   Note: Your tutor will have indicated to you which format to use for your e-diary. The Word document linked above gives you the basic template for a reflective journal, but your tutor may require you to use another tool such as a blog to capture your reflections. If you are unsure, consult your tutor.
