In this activity you will use the
equation editor to do fraction editing.
Activity
Open the word processor document
called my
fractions. In this document do the following,
using the equation editor:
Write
the proper fraction
Write
the improper fraction
Write
the improper fraction as
a mixed number 3
Create a test table where
learners have to choose whether a given fraction is
proper or improper. For each improper fraction, learners
will be required to convert it into a mixed number.
Your table should contain
at least 10 questions, with five of them being improper
fractions.
Use this activity in your classroom.
Complete your e-diary about this activity. Reflect on
how you think the equation editor could be a useful
