The purpose of this activity is for you to create short, structured activities that require your learners to use the information that you have found so far in the module.

Before you do this activity, we recommend that you read What is a Web Byte?

Creating Web Bytes

Use your e-diary to make initial comments about the activity.
  1. Use the websites that you have found and evaluated during this module to design four Web Bytes based on these sites. Use the word processor table in Web Byte to write up the Web Byte.
  2. Before sharing these Web Bytes with a wider audience, try them out with your classes. If your learners do not have computer access, try using the information from the website in class. Make improvements where necessary.
  3. Look at the Web Bytes that you receive from your group. Try them out yourself or give them to colleagues at your school to use. Write e-mail to your group, and share your experiences of using these Web Bytes with your group. Give advice where you think the Web Byte can be improved.
  4. Improve your Web Bytes based on comments from your group and mentor.

Use your e-diary to make closing comments about this activity.
