Purpose and Outcomes

Purpose

This module aims to support you in:

  • how to review software and consider its purpose and limitations; and
  • what to ask yourself when comparing different products.

Only you know your context and your learners needs and prior computer competence. You know your school and where and when computers are available for use. You know what the school aims to teach and what types of information, images and examples are relevant for their social and cultural context. You can however be supported and guided in this process to ask the appropriate questions of yourself.

By completing this module you will find out about a range of software products that are adapted for use in this region. You will develop questions and criteria that will help you to review software and share your opinions and findings about particular educational software products with your colleagues.

Learning Outcomes
