In the next three activities, you will:
- Design and produce learning activities that help
learners visualise relationships in graphs
- Use a spreadsheet (MS Excel) to help build up data
tables easily to plot graphs
- Use a word processor (MS Equation editor) to write
formulae
Spreadsheets were originally designed for commercial
and accounting purposes, but have many properties that can make them
useful in science.
Spreadsheets such as MS Excel can be used to:
- do calculations on data
- plot graphs
- sort and arrange data
In the following activities you will focus only
on a few aspects of the use of spreadsheets in science education.
