In
this activity you examine how the introduction of ICTs at the
school, in an integrated way, will impact on teaching and learning
in each learning area.

Activity

How
will ICT integration in each learning area impact
on teaching and learning? How do you envisage that
classes will be conducted? What will learners and
educators be doing with ICTs in each of these learning
areas? There may already be success stories at your
school. What are these? Write your vision for ICT
(in other words what would you like to see happening)
in each learning area in your e-diary
under the heading Learning area vision. Share
this vision by attaching the e-diary
to e-mail to
your tutor (using the subject heading "Learning area vision").
- Create at least one slide that
will capture this vision for each learning area.
- Save these slides in a file called
Learning area vision.
- Share this document online with your group for commentary from your group. Comment
on the slides of at least two other members in your
group. Keep your slides handy for your presentation
to the school.
- Make closing comments in your e-diary.
