1. Think about and decide which Fairy Tale  you would like to read. Read and enjoy the Fairy Tale. Then, spend time looking at the illustrations. Using Microsoft Word, create a document answering the following questions:

  • Who are the main characters in the story?
  • Where does the story take place?
  • What is the "magic" in the story?
  • Are there any magical numbers in the story ?
  • What is the good deed happening in the story?
  • What is the bad or evil deed happening in the story?
  • Is there a conflict between any of the characters in the story?
  • How is the conflict resolved?

2. Now that you know the elements of a good fairytale, include them in web, using Inspiration,. Create an outline for your fairytale by starting with "The name of your Fairytale" in the middle circle. Then branch off and include circles for each element. Use as many details as you can to make your story interesting.

3. Finally, using Microsoft Word or Publisher, write your fairytale using the rubric and your notes as a guide.
