The purpose of this activity is to help you to determine whether or not information on a website is likely to be accurate.

Before you do this activity, we suggest that you read a short article on Accuracy of information.

The accuracy of information

  1. Which of the following two sites contain the most accurate information?
A.    Zulu Dance
B.    South African Culture
  1. Write e-mail to the group and give your answer to question 1 including one good reason for your decision.

Use your e-diary, and in one sentence try to explain how to recognize whether content on a site is sufficiently in-depth and accurate.
