Arctotis fastiosa. | This flower is one of the most famous of the fynbos plants. It is the
provincial flower of the Western Cape and is known as the Pride of Table
Mountain. Its scientific name is Disa uniflora.

Mesembryanthemaceae. Their common name is "vygies" (little figs). These flowers are found all over South Africa in open sunny areas. They are very easy to grow. The peak time for flowering is spring (September). |
