Views from the Field Trip:
Greenfield Village
Mr. Buckman's Second Grade Class
Our class visited Greenfield Village in June.  They worked on an Information Hunt put together to focus their attention and increase their background knowledge of history found in the village. See the pictures of the trip.  It was a very warm and extremely humid day.  However the children seemed to have had a great time.  This was made possible by the 7 chaperones who volunteered to come with us on the field trip.  The many chaperones made it possible to divide the class into small learning groups.  With small groups, the chaperone were able to interact with the students more and share many facts that they know about the places on display at Greenfield Village.  Thanks again to our wonderful chaperones!
