Use the material you learned in Virus Profiles to determine what disease we've got here, and decipher how it was contracted. You see him lying there wreaked by spasms. A bit of saliva rolls down the side of his mouth. You can also tell he's having trouble swallowing.
Dr. Begely: This is definitely a case of rabies. He has the traditional foaming from the mouth. Ok, so not exactly "foaming" but close enough. He also has a fever.
Dr. Shelly: Hum… it would seem to be rabies… but I say we find out more about this person's history. Dogs foam, not necessarily humans. We need to find out if he was bitten or not.
Well, it looks like there a definite difference of opinion between our doctors. They need to make a wise decision, can you help them out? Who do you agree with?
