Actually, Doc Begely didn't miss a beat. All that he mentioned about B-cells, and specifically memory cells, was correct. B-cells help to prevent from the recurrence of certain diseases. For example, most people only have the chicken pox once. The second time they are exposed, the memory cells kick in to high gear and make sure those viruses don't cause any more trouble. Nope, this doctor had it all together.
