Dr. Shelly: Well, viruses do not infect plants. However, I concur. This sample is an animal virus.

These doctors don't sound to sure of themselves. What do you think?

 I feel the same way as Doc Begely, I have no idea why the virus didn't infect both types of subjects as it should have.

 Of course, Doc Shelly is correct. Viruses do not infect plants. This explains the odd behavior.

 I don't believe either of the doctors is correct.
