When you click on the Help menu .

Word tries to predict what you are looking for help about and offers you a few options on a pop-up screen like the one below.

If it does not offer what you are looking for, type in the topic of your query and click on the search button.

If you are connected to the Internet, Word will also search online for further options.

Further options relating to your search will appear. If you are connected to the Internet, Word will also search online for assistance.
