MS Word 2000 - Add a button to a toolbar w.jpg (815 bytes)


  click

Click on the Tools menu

Click on Customize

Click on the Commands tab

In the Categories box (on the left-hand side) click on the category of icon that you want to add (e.g. Insert)

Under Commands (on the right hand side) scroll down until you see the button that you wish to add (e.g. Equation Editor)

Drag the icon of the button that you wish to select to the toolbar at the top of the page, and drop it there.

From this point on, whenever you want to use that button, you click on the button on the toolbar.
