Trigonometry Equation One
To write the trigonometric equation y = ½ cos(A + B)
Open the equation editor
When the box opens write y =
From the fraction and radical template, choose the fraction
template
Insert the 1 on top, the numerator
Move to the denominator by using the down arrow
Write the 2 in the denominator and press the right arrow
Your equation should now look like this: y = ½
Now write in the cos and then insert the round brackets
( )
Your equation should now look like this: y = ½ cos
( )
Now write A+B inside the brackets
Press the right arrow to move out of the brackets
Trigonometry Equation Two
To write the trigonometric equation cos2 = 2cos2 - 1
Open the equation editor
When the box opens write cos2
Insert from the Greek characters
(lowercase) menu 
Now write = 2cos to get cos2 = 2cos
To insert 2, select the superscript and subscript menu, choose
superscript and write 2
Press the right arrow to move away from the superscript
Finish by typing the - 1
