Before we begin our assignment, let's get aquainted with the topic that we will be covering.

Step One:  Go to the Prince of Whales site and take a virtual whale watching tour.

Step Two:  Now, go to Virtual Whales Multimedia to watch some films and listen to some recordings of whales. Be sure to watch the "Cooperative Feeding" movie and listen to the various recordings of the whales feeding.

Step Three:  After you have exposed yourself to the world of whales, you are ready to move on to the problem that you will be working to solve over the next several days.

Your Problem:

You are on an international committee that is studying the decline of the whale population.

Suggest ways on how to save that species of whale. Present a plan to the committee which will include practical and cost effective solutions.
