  CLICK HERE TO SEE COOL PICTURE : http://www.csun.edu/~hcchs006/gang.html  Day 1: Introducing the Essential Question, Choice, or Problem Based on reported police data, the gang activity in your community has increased over sixty percent in the last year.  A gang task force committee has been formed which will include the:  mayor, social worker, police chief, and minister.  Your teacher will decide which role you will take on.  Your  job is to determine the leading causes of gang involvement and develop a plan to eliminate this strangle hold on your community.

At the end of your research you will give a presentation of your solution using a slide show such as Claris Works, Kidpix or Hyperstudio.  The reasons for your solution must include information about the following:
Schools Crime/safety statistics;
Morality (gang: the value of human life);
Community involvement/environment.
