Creating a Research Module

Before you start

Use this checklist:

  1. Do you have a focus question and subsidiary questions that will serve as the focus of the research.
  2. Have you thought of a good opening statement and image. This will "grab" the learners attention.
  3. Do you have a clear idea of what the learners will do during the activity and produce by the end of the research?
  4. Have you researched and provided a list of useful websites for the learners?
  5. Do you have a clear idea of how you will break down the learning process into specific steps, each referring to specific resources and guided by leading questions.
  6. Do you have a clear idea of how you will assess the learning?
