It is time to have some fun. Many educators who use the Internet have made use of the Scavenger Hunt to improve the searching skills of their learners. The following Scavenger Hunt is for you. It is simple. You simply need to find answers to the questions in the activities.

Find the answer to these questions and post them to your group to compare answers. For each question, write down:

  • The search engine you used;
  • The question / directories / keywords you used;
  • The answer to the question;
  • How long you took.

Questions:

  1. What is a Gila Monster?
  2. Who won the 1970 Soccer World Cup?
  3. What is the speed of light?
  4. When was Desmond Tutu elected as Archbishop of Cape Town?
  5. Where can I find a picture of a traditional Ndebele hut?
